1. Application Assistance
– Guidance on completing the J1 application process.
– Review and feedback on required documents (e.g., resume, degrees, transcripts).
2. Credential Evaluation Support
– Assistance with obtaining a U.S. equivalency evaluation for foreign degrees and certifications.
3. Placement Services
– Coordination with J1 sponsors to match teachers with host schools in the U.S.
– Assistance in securing a job offer.
4. Visa Sponsorship Coordination
– Liaising with designated J1 visa sponsors for application approval.
– Assistance with DS-2019 issuance and visa interview preparation.
5. Pre-Departure Orientation
– Sessions to prepare teachers for the cultural, professional, and logistical aspects of living and working in the U.S.
6. Travel Assistance
– Help with booking flights and organizing travel plans.
– Advice on relocating to the U.S.
7. Onboarding Support
– Guidance on setting up bank accounts, securing housing, and transportation.
– Assistance with acquiring a teaching license in the state of employment.
8. Ongoing Support
– Providing mentorship and support throughout the program.
– Helping with compliance and renewal of program requirements.
9. Professional Development
– Opportunities for additional training and skill-building tailored for J1 educators.
10.Cultural Exchange Activities
– Organizing events or activities to encourage cultural exchange and integration.
